Grundle Closure for 2 weeks

28 September 2020

Be aware that Suffolk County Council are carrying out work in the Grundle from today (28 September) for the next two weeks.
Public access will be restricted so please use Park Farm Drive as far as the bridge until the works are complete.

Stan Co Co Tote

After careful consideration the Trustees have decided that the Tote will remain suspended for a further period.
The Trustees will continue to monitor the situation regarding Covid 19 but the safety of our collectors - and subscribers - remains paramount.

New Table Tennis Tables installed

The Council are pleased to announce that the long awaited table tennis tables are in and ready for use at the Recreation Ground.

Annual Report 2020

Council has approved the Annual Report for the Financial Year 2019-2020 and this can now be viewed here  If you would like a paper copy of the report then these can be obtained from the Clerk.

Stanton Surgery Planning Application

11 September 2020

At the Parish Council Meeting on 10 September 2020 after further discussion on the Planning Application submitted by Stanton Surgery, Council resolved to fully support the application and will be sending a communication to the West Suffolk Planning Committee to that effect.

Fireworks Event Cancelled

11 September 2020

It is with regret that following considerable thought the Parish Council has made the difficult decision that the 2020 Firework Event must be cancelled due to the current pandemic and concerns over keeping everyone safe in a Covid Secure way.
