The Parish Council presents Annual Community Recognition Awards at the Annual Parish Meeting every year. The last one was held on Thursday 16 May 2024

These awards are given to individuals, businesses or organisations to recognise their work or achievements in the community of Stanton, or in some other way their contribution to the life of the Parish. Anyone can nominate their friends, co-workers or business suppliers of good service to receive an award and Councillors will then consider and decide the award winners for the year.

The Council would like to congratulate -

Kasim, Onur and family (Stanton Fish & Chip Shop), nominated by Beryl Ryl and Irene Garnham, in recognition of the popular and welcome service to their customers.

Karen Archer (Post Lady), nominated by Chris Britton and Pat Rolfe in recognition of her cheerful, friendly and oustanding service delivering post and looking out for elderly and disadvantaged residents.

FLP Motors, nominated by Brian and Mary Brown, in recognition of their loyal, friendly and helpful services to their customers.
