Every village aims to provide a vibrant and welcoming environment for its residents. Some villages are better than others at it!

At last nights Parish Meeting it was evident that most of our village organisations are struggling to get help with running the various facilities we have.

Could you spare a few hours a month?

Just some of the requests last night -
+ volunteer to assist the Village SID watch - changing the speed indicator device over from one pole to another every few days and keeoing it charged
+ volunteer to join the team of the village magazine - the Stanton Steamer. You might be interested in a future career or have experience of publishing/graphic design or just want to learn!
+Treasurer for the Land Fund
+ Committee members for the Village Hall - what do you want our village hall to look like in the future? Do you have any ideas for events/fund raising/marketing?
+ Fireworks event working party - can you help to run this event?

If all our residents were to spare a couple of hours a month then the village would be overflowing with organisations and events.
