Stanton Parish Council Firework event has run for many years and is always very well received and has a reputation for being one of the best value shows in the district.
The Firework Working Party are looking for 2 new people to assist with the safe delivery of this popular annual event held in our village. The current team need some fresh blood willing to train and learn about the planning of the fireworks event and commit to being available for planning each year, usually early summer, and preparation in the two weeks, prior to the event and obviously on the day of the fireworks.
There is a whole day course that the volunteers would need to attend on the 10th September 2022 to prepare them and give them the necessary training. They will be part of a small group who will work to achieve a safe event for all the attendees.
If we fail to get any new people involved this year the event may not go ahead.
We cannot have a firework event without the necessary volunteers and we have to commit to making our order for firework at the 14th July Parish Council meeting.
