Due to the resignation of Councillor Vic Dorling, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor to Stanton Parish Council.

Please see the attached Notice of Vacancy which gives instructions on how you can request that an election takes place.

If by 30 May 2024, a request for an election has been received by the Returning Officer for West Suffolk by ten electors of Stanton Parish, an election will be take place no later than 1 August 2024.

Due to the resignation of Councillor Jim Thorndyke, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor to Stanton Parish Council.

If by 31 May 2024, a request for an election has been received by the Returning Officer for West Suffolk by ten electors of Stanton Parish, an election will be take place no later than 2 August 2024.

Otherwise the vacancies will be filled by co-option and further information will be provided on the co-option process.
